RainbowImaging 62mm Adjustable Fader ND Filter Neutral Density (ND2 - ND400) Multi-Coated Japan

Glass Made in Japan. Pro Multi-Coated. Pro Digital multi-coated filters greatly reduce the appearance of lens flare and ghosting caused by reflections.

Easy to adjust neutral density freely from ND2 to ND400. Rotating it in order to change 2-8 stops. It offers you the freedom the create different neutral density freely.

Apply slow shutter speed under strong sunlight exposure, large aperture is available to create depth of field easily

In a bright environment to shoot strong dynamic screen, eg waterfalls, streams, waves etc

It offers the best image performance with lens with focal length 200mm below. Image quality may drop when focal length above 200mm. Please note it might cause Vignetting when use with super wide angle lens. Eg. 20MM lens with full frame camera, but no problem with half frame camera.

The ability to adjust neutral density on-the-fly is a great idea, especially when shooting video and trying to get shallow depth of field. But using this filter, I found it impossible to get tack-sharp focus. I tried taking a series of pictures with and without the filter. In every case, the filter noticeably degraded the focus. Colors also seemed to shift a bit depending on the setting of the filter. In the end, I returned it....
