Its not bad for the price but the photos are not as clear and warm as on the computer LCD screen. This is an affordable price range for these frames, and they are great to just be able to enjoy the photos. I'm sure they are better in the higher price ranges, and the large formats. I couldn't find any high ratings for any of the frames in this price range, so settled on this one. Just don't have high expectations of clarity of image. Its not here. But, if you want to display your photos in small spaces instead of putting out tons of photo frames, this is great....

I know 7" frames do distort the photo but the level of distortion was more than expected on this frame. I have a 7" frame (different brand) and the distortion is barely noticable. On this Quantaray frame everything looks shorter and wider.I measured both frames and the frame I currently use measures exactly 7" diagonally, this Quantaray frame measures less than 7" - I guess that's why the distortion is worse....

I took copies of the flowers we sell in our online catalog (DollarSeed.com), copied them onto an SD card, and left it at factory settings, and they are all clean and sharp. There are 5 easy to see and use buttons on the top for Pause/Play, Next, Previous, Interval, and Mode. Using the mode button you can resize the pictures to Fill, Original, Auto Fit, and Pan Scan. Perhaps they should have not played with the Mode button before writing the reviews, or visa-versa.I bought mine brand new at a garage sale from a nice little elderly woman who probably doesn't have a digital camera or computer, and received it as a gift. I say this, because if she bought it herself, she would not have sold it to me unused with a brand new 1 GB SD Card included. However, seeing the prices of these dropping as the new fad begins to take hold, I would have paid full price and been just as happy.I'm sure my wife is going to want to add some family photos, and delete my flower pictures, which is sad, because they are very pretty and would help bring the garden into our home during the cold winter months....
