This review is from: Hoya 77mm HMC UV Digital Slim Frame Multi-Coated Glass FilterThese Hoya filters are quite expensive compared to the Zeicos and similar El Cheapo filters, but you get what you pay for. The glass is really optical quality, with no distortions, and the anti-reflective coating is better quality. If you are buying a UV filter for a lens costing many hundreds to thousands of dollars, like a Canon "L" series, these Hoya's are the filter you want. This review is from: Hoya 77mm HMC UV Digital Slim Frame Multi-Coated Glass FilterReasonably priced protection for my premium lenses. Best flare control for the money. I use Hoya HMC filters on all my lenses. Have not noticed any loss in image quality....
