This review is from: Pandigital PanImage PI7000W01 - Digital photo frame - flash 512 MB - 7\" - 480 x 234This product was terrible right out of the box. Our uploaded pictures were corrupt after the 2nd uploading. The company refused to return their item, they would only repair it. Also, the picture frame is designed to stand up, but it only falls down!Terrible item - I would never buy it again!!!...
This review is from: Pandigital PanImage PI7000W01 - Digital photo frame - flash 512 MB - 7\" - 480 x 234I am having the same experience as the previous 2 reviewers with this product: if the original photo files are not of similar proportion as 430x234, the displayed pictures are both poor quality (very grainy/pixely even tho the originals are at high resolution) and/or are chopped off significantly to fill the frame. I fiddled with the "no-optimize" option to display the pictures with the original proportions and although the quality was better, it is sloppy viewing pictures with a blackened screen frame within a picture matt within a frame. I do like all the options that are provided to customize the settings of the frame but none of them matter if the pictures are displayed poorly. Will be returning this for a frame with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The higher price is worth it....
This review is from: Pandigital PanImage PI7000W01 - Digital photo frame - flash 512 MB - 7\" - 480 x 234So I only spent about 5 minutes with this digital frame. I plugged in my USB flash drive and viewed the photos. Very grainy, and the vertical pictures that were viewed horizontally were cropped heavily, so my daughters were headless in many of the photos. I didn't test out the sound, but I wouldn't expect much. Then I tried a different digital frame, (Pandigital 7", no model number on the box) also right out of the box with the same flash drive, and it formatted the photos better so no cropped heads, and the picture quality was better. It has a smaller internal memory (128MB) and no option to play music, but also cost about $20 more. I think less really is more when it comes to features on these digital frames, and then pay a bit more for better picture quality....
