But I DO have this.OK, where do I start. First of all, the parallax barrier on this is larger than what is on the Nintendo 3DS and the FujiFilm cameras. Because of this, it tends to make some pictures look a little funny at first. The start-up screen is really bad, BUT! this is a flawed first impression. Once I got some of my photos from my FujiFilm W3 3D camera on it, this was no longer a problem.Also, I would like to confirm that you DO have to look at the images at a very direct set of angles. **This is no different than any other parallax-barrier device! (e.g. Nintendo 3DS, FujiFilm W3, etc.)** 3D screens are a lot different from standard screens, folks. You have to do a little getting used to them.Alright, now the file formats. 3D file formats do not currently have a true-set standard yet, due to the industry's reluctance to take up 3D technology. Most new devices (the FujiFilm W3 and Nintendo 3DS in particular) use MPO format files. **This frame does not read MPO files** this is important!--it does not mean that the frame is useless. The files just need to be converted. This frame uses **standard jpeg files that contain both the left and right images side-by-side**. You can find free programs on the Internet (like stereo photo maker) that will do this for you. Also, the converter software that comes with this **only converts the 3D AVI files from 3D movie recorders to the MP4 format that this frame reads.** My guess is that since there is no clear standard for the 3D formats, there is little documentation included to help with this. Yes, it can be a bit of a pain for those who aren't into 3D. That's why I am leaving this comment... these frames aren't all defective.Finally, I have seen reports of freezing all across the Internet (not just here) on reviews for this frame. I'll admit, this is partially what made me look for it cheaper somewhere else. And **Yes, I did experience some freezing**. But I found out why it was freezing and how to fix it--The frame was freezing because my pictures (10 megapixel 3D files) were WAY too big for this frame to process. I resized them to 800x600 (this frame turns out to be 720P) and the files have loaded fine since, and no freezing has occurred. If the device freezes, there's a tiny little "reset" button hidden on the back/right side of the device in one of the speaker holes... I almost didn't see it, and the instructions don't mention it.Cons: A little overpriced? Yes. But that's because they aren't received well on the market right now. I hope this changes soon. Other Cons of this device, again, were the lack of good documentation, and also, the rechargeable Li-Ion battery seems a little short-lived. The included software does not help convert picture files (only videos).Pros: Honestly, I love this thing. I went to the zoo and took a bunch of 3D photos, and they look awesome on this frame. Frame can take SD cards or flash drives. There is also 128 MB of internal storage... Doesn't sound like much, but its actually enough to hold a few hundred 3D jpeg images. Depending on the individual image, the 3D effect can be really deep.Those of you with 3D digital cameras who want a frame, do not be afraid of this one. Remember:>Go online and find a free program like "stereo photo maker" to convert your files to a side-by-side jpeg. The included software will not do this, unfortunately.>This frame does play 3D video with sound. Use the included software to convert 3D camera video files to the MP4 format this frame reads.>Reduce your image size so that the height is no more than 720 pixels, otherwise the frame might freeze.>Make sure you notice the almost un-noticeable "reset" button on the back, in case of a freeze (actually doesn't happen much when the device is used correctly)...

Pictures look great on the camera screen,on the other hand, on this screen you cannot appreciate a real 3d effect. This screen is not even useful for 2d pictures as you can see the pixels on the screen....

The photo quality makes even the best 2D photos unviewable. After installing the included software, I was unable to convert my 3D photos to a format that was compatible with this photo viewer. (I have the Fuji Finepix Real 3D W3 camera). The native format of my photos did not display correctly on this viewer, and this format was unrecognized by the included software. This product automatically converts your 2D photos to what they say is "3D", but in fact, the result is just a blurry mess! Even the menus that display on the photo viewer are blurry! Don't waste your time or effort on this item.....
