This review is from: POLAROID XSA-00770S 7-inch Digital Picture FrameMy husband gave me the Polaroid Digital Picture Frame and for the first year it worked, the picture quality was questionable but to the degree that it didn't bother me at first. Then the other shoe dropped after the first 15 months the weather station didn't work for the inside temperature. The outside was fine but the inside was registering HHH with 99% humidity, since it wasn't raining inside my home I knew there was a problem with the inside temperature sensor. I first emailed Polaroid and did not receive an answer which I thought was rude and unprofessional, if you have a web site with an email address specifically generated for any questions about your product have the courtesy of responding to the email and I waited three weeks for a response. I then called Polaroid, a representative of Polaroid told me that the inside temperature sensor had gone bad. I said to him well do you have a repair service in my area I can take it to or send it back to you as I knew it was out of warranty but the frame at the time it was purchased was over $100 with the tax!! His reply, no it can't be repaired. Now if you're going to sell a product for that kind of money you should have a repair or replacement plan in place. I absolutely WILL NOT BUY A POLAROID PRODUCT of this type ever again!!! My very strong suggestion, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT it will stop working quickly and you get no support from the manufacturer!...

I am "feeding" it 10.2 MP images from my Nikon DLSR, and the photos are beautiful on my computer screen or when printed. On this frame, the images are dim, the contrast is poor, the resolution is poor, and the response is very slow. Finally, the device has a very cheap-plastic feel. I expected more from a $100 purchase, although I have not yet tried out other types of electronic photo frames for comparision. I am returning this one....

I recently disconnected the unit for a few days, reconnected it and it would not display images. The weather station feature stil works. Polaroid support reminded me that it only had a 90 day warranty, it was no longer covered, and the cost of repairs would match the cost of a new unit. The lack of quality and support is remarkable....
