This is a nice little pink digital picture frame that would of course be nice for a girl, but it's even better in the Barbie room. You can load it with pictures via a USB thumb drive, or a standard SD card of any size, and the frame will rotate from picture to picture on its own. There are various settings, such as types of transitions, time each picture is displayed, and display options such as 16x9 or 4x3, pretty standard and basic stuff for a digital frame. The main appeal of course is that it is pink and has the Barbie logo on it. The resolution is not as good as other digital frames. If you want high quality image display, this is not the frame you're looking for. I loaded an SD card with Barbie desktop wallpapers for the frame to display in my Barbie room, and it makes a nice decorative addition to my collection. Even though I feel the display is low-resolution, it is bright and is a neat show piece. It would also be a nice beginner frame to buy for a child to learn how to use a digital frame and how to care for it without sinking a lot of money into it-- and of course it will be cute on a girl's nightstand. I am pleased with it and it is a 4-star frame for me, but you might want to invest in something with a better display if you are looking for a frame with more practical use in mind....
