It does but no where does it mention that it doesn't support animated GIFs and what's the point of supporting GIF files if it doesn't support animation? Worthless piece of junk. It's too small to be of any use if you can't put something like your company's animated logo on it as a GIF file....

When I got home I googled the unit to see a typical 440.00 price tag and BAD reviews. I loaded an SD card into it and have had it running in slideshow mode non-stop for over a month now and have not seen the horrible problems others see. Every now and then, one of the digits from the calendar (which I don't use) bleeds through, but goes away with the next slideshow change. I am quite happy with it, except the instructions on setting up the unit (and the controls for the same) are quite bad. Very worth $15.00 I paid and if I had been looking for a photo frame I would pay the $40.00 that I see it sold for....

I see that someone else had the same experience. I will be returning this sorry waste of materials to the store....
