While a bigger screen size could be better for elderly, photos look excellent (800 X 600 resolution) and videos and music too. The ability of the camera to show digital media (photos, movies taken directly from a digital camera and the music mp3 files) immediately after plug-in a new external card is superb, u don't even need to turn-off the frame. So far the frame has performed very well and I don't see any issue with the frame. Package comes with three mats (black, gray and cream (off-white). The power supply works with 120 - 240 Volts....

So this was a pleasant one to work with and load pictures directly from the PC. It comes with a cable. That's great because the first one didn't and although I have a lot of cameras and other items that connect, none fit that frame. The remote is not great at all. Can't tell when it will work and when it won't. I finally gave up and use the controls on the unit. I had a lot of trouble getting random to work, but finally it did. Now that I have it set up, I am really happy with the image and it is viewable from different angles of the room.It will be a Christmas gift for the grandparents and I'm excited to give it to them, for their enjoyment....
This review is from: Digital Foci Image Moments 8 Digital Picture Frame (IMT-083)After doing a great deal of research into the digital photo frames in the 8" to 11" category, I selected this 8" Digital Foci frame to be the one to purchase. It was a bit more than I had wanted to spend but after reviewing all of the features that it has (more internal memory with 145MB, random slideshow option, interchangeable mats that are provided, ability to sort photos in separate folders for viewing, support for virtually all memory devices, and much more), I was willing to spend the extra money for it. I bought it directly from Amazon.com and it came well packaged and arrived in less than a week. After spending some time reading the user's manual (which is written in clear easy-to-understand English), it did not take long to set up the frame for viewing. I used the internal memory for the music files and put the picture files on an SD card and it works very smoothly. The pictures are bright and clear with great color and the music adds a very nice touch to the slideshow. This is a great product for a great price and has a lot of great features. I recommend this frame for anyone looking for one in this size....
