This review is from: Impecca DPA350 - Digital photo frame - 3.5\" - 320 x 240 - redI have 4 different photo frames ranging from the little Impecca 3 ½ inch photo album to a 12" frame. Each is from a different company. I did not buy my 2 Impecca albums from Amazon as they were out of stock in the colors I wanted when I was ready to purchase, so I ended up buying from another source. The Impecca does a good job of displaying the photos. They have been very hassle free and easy to use, maybe in part due to limited options?Bottom line: A neat little photo frame. Would I buy it again? YES, in a heartbeat. The touch screen works nicely. Just slide your finger down or up to move to the next or previous photo. Slide it right or left and tap to change folders.I have over 250 photos loaded and it has hardly made a dent in the amount of memory used. The album comes with its own software program that is automatically loaded onto your pc each time you connect to it. The program is contained in the internal memory of the Impecca. You MUST use the program to download photos to or delete photos on the album. I have never had any problems with the program and it is easy to use. I have used it with 3 different operating systems: XP, Vista and Win7. No problems with any of them. The program allows you to select photos from your PC, crop, rotate, add a title and date to each photo. Be sure to do any rotation and cropping first because when you press "ok" to add a title the photo is immediately added to the list for downloading.Limitations:The album comes preloaded with 9 folders in which to store your photos. You cannot add more folders. So far, for me that has not been a problem, perhaps other people might want more folders to organize their photos. The photos in each folder display in the order they were selected and loaded into the folder. There is no way that I have found to change the order, other than deleating them and reloading them in a new order. You can rename the folders but you are limited to 8 characters. To me that is a bit limiting. For example, you cannot label one as "Grandchildren". Although the album shows up on windows explorer, you will not see any of the folders or the photos stored on the device. You will not be able to copy any of the photos from the album back to a PC.The slideshow feature cycles through the photos in whatever folder you were in when you start the slideshow. You can change it by just selecting another folder. The photos are displayed in the order in which they were loaded into the folder. No options for random play, just the option to set the length of time each is displayed. There is no battery indicator to let you know when the battery is getting low. There is a battery indicator that shows up when you have it plugged into a PC, but it still does not let you know how far from full charge it is. Just if it is charging (blinking) or charged (steady). All in all, a nice little album especially given the price....
