The PC software to move pictures over USB connection is kind of quirky but ok once you get used to it. Till today I had completed firmware updates with no problem some add the ability for it to use larger sd cards and the like. I completed the latest update (version 17)from the Philips web site and my frame is now dead. I am a tech support person / repair pcs I know how to complete a firmware update. The immediate reply to my initial request for support for my frame not powering on or doing anything after the update completed from the Philips representatives email quoted below:"Using the firware update is compeletely up to you and it voids the warranty Just fyi. If its not done right it will destroy the frame if your frame was working fine there should have been not reason to use it. Please call 1-888-744-5477 they support you frame and can assit you further. Thank youGIINII TECH SUPPORTYOUSUF"If this is how they support their products and update process DONT BUY Philips....
