They've done some nice things and screwed up on others. Overall if you can work with the quirks it's the best 12" hi rez digital picture frame you can get for the money. But the quirks are formidable. I've had this Coby 12" digital picture frame for about a week, Here are some of the good and bad features:Good:1. a truly high resolution screen (1280x800)that shows off images well...except if the frame pixolates them. 2. It's a nice looking frame3. compact remote control4. Sound isn't bad.Bad:1. Doesn't come with internal memory2. Doesn't recognize most SD memory modules including Sandisk. It recognizes my USB drive, but the jack is positioned so that it's completely visible with flashing light. It's distracting and uglifies the frame.3. The frame badly pixolates some random jpg images that are really excellent shots. Customer service says the fix is to reduce the size of the image...but that didn't help. Transcoding to the bmp format did help in most cases.4. No way to click through the images. They just run through their slide show. Very slow when you have several hundred images and are trying to note which ones are being pixolated and need to be transcoded. 5. Doesn't like Jpg files created in Photoshop. Those are the ones it really messes up.6. Very quirky about running videos...which ones it recognizes. recognizes some but won't play them....

The Cons are to many to list them all but a couple are: There is no ON/OFF for it on the Remote!!! The veiwing anlge is so bad that setting on a table or stand, it is not viewable and if you wall mount it it has to be where you can get to it to turn it ON/OFF and get to the controls on the side. DO A GOOD FEATURE...

I'm thinkimg about sending it back. A good price is not the only thing....
