This review is from: ViewSonic Premium D?cor DPX702WD-BW 7-Inch Digital Picture FrameWhen I received this I could only get the frame to work by holding the power button down, so I googled it quicklike and it turns out it's just a little bit tricky- it worked fine, I just had to quickly press the button then wait several seconds for the frame to start up.The menu is a little bit confusing, but frame menus tend to be.The resolution is really nice- the last frame I had you could see the pixels easily. This one looks much more clean.Only comes with one front panel, which is a little confusing based on the product description. The wood looks nice but isn't actually wood. The stand is really heavy duty, and the internal battery appears to work fine. I was also glad to find that the screen size is 7" (sometimes they count some of the frame in the number, but not with this product)...

The VIEWSONIC DPX702WD-BW is of very good quality in construction and function. The images look great on this digital frame. The menu is a snap to use and the border frames interchange nicely. I did not have an issue with the power button at all. It's a simple quick push for on and a 3 second held push for off...works every time. I do not understand why people have so much trouble using electronic devices. I gave it an overall five stars because it works and looks exactly as it should (and then some)....

Power button is a problem. Did not figure it out with tech support before returning the product. A new one is on the way and we will see if it works. We thought the power on was essentially random based on the power switch.2. Several of the buttons on the remote do not work. Don't know why, the manual just says they don't work. Not sure where or why they got this remote but they did themselves and all the customers a diservice.3. I have better control on a 1 year old foreign frame whose manual I could barely read. The manual is not much help and the controls are difficult. Admittedly I did not spend that much time with before returning it and it might have gotten better but I would not give this to a non-tech person unless you want to provide lifetime tech support or it is someone you really dislike.Upload and picture quality was good as others have stated. I would expect nothing less from Viewsonic. Bottom line, don't buy....
