Not user friendly at all. Very difficult to figure out. Over all: I would not reccommend this product to anyone b/c the quality of the picture is horrible. YOu could barely see the pics I loaded up. And, you can't plug it directly into you computer to load pics and you can't use a pin drive either. You need a digital camera memory card which it fails to tell you that you need.over all: badbadbad,......
This review is from: Smartparts 5.6-Inch Digital Picture Frame (SPDPF56NE)I needed a plug and play device for my mom who is computer illiterate and can't view her digital photos that way. I thought this would be a nice alternative. She could take her memory card straight from the camera to the digital frame. Nope. Doesn't work that way. The frame only displays pictures with a certain style of filename, no more than four digits long, and it doesn't recognize the "underbar" charater. So, first I had to download the pictures to a computer for her and rename them all, then re-upload them to the memory card. Second, it only displays pictures in a JPG format, but these were created that way, so no problem there. Once I got the pictures to display on the digital frame, the resolution was awful! The colors were off and the pictures fuzzy and unclear, even though on the conputer screen, the pictures were beautiful. Anyway, I boxed the silly thing up and returned it. No way was it worth $100. I wouldn't pay a single dollar for it because it doesn't do what it says. It's not a good display for digital pictures, unless maybe you print one out and tape it to the front of the frame!...

The pictures have a very yellow tinge, and the controls can't eliminate it. This is the worst product I've ever purchased from Amazon - by a large margin!...
