My only reservation was how hard it would be to operate the buttons through the heavy clear front of the case. The short story on that is that it is a non issue. Even with my large fingers pushing individual buttons is not a problem. The case fits the kindle like a glove and should prove proof, by a wide margin, against any accidental damage one could expect from every day use. Things to know; There is no access to the bottom controls, power/wake up switch, volume control, speaker and charging port, with the case sipped completely closed. I don't have any problem with this. With the two zipper construction getting access is just a matter of keeping the two zippers close at the bottom right of the case and unzipping one a bit to get access. The case doesn't add what I would consider any significant weight or bulk to the kindle. However, some, not I, may find the bulge caused by putting the charger and cord into the back pocket a problem. There is a certain amount of glare associated with the clear vinyl screen which hasn't presented any problem in reading through it but, oddly enough, my wife has a problem with it because when reading in bed the angle of my reading lamp causes the light to reflect into her eyes. In the two weeks I've been using it that is the only time I find it necessary to remove the kindle from the case. The case may not be as elegant as some hand tooled leather front/back cover but if you want worry free protection from, for example, that bit of spilled coffee or keys inadvertently tossed on top of the unit, you won't do better. This review is from: M-Edge Leisure Kindle Jacket, Navy Blue (Fits 6\" Display, Latest Generation)This is my 9th M-Edge cover between my new, my old, and my husband's Kindle. I LOVE M-Edge covers. I purchased my first Leisure Jacket for my Kindle 2 so I could read in the bathtub without worrying about the occasional splash of water. I used that cover almost every night for about a year when I took a bath, but I didn't keep it in that case permanently since the plastic wasn't completely flat. It had a slight ripple which made for an annoying glare sometimes. This new Leisure Jacket fits like a dream though! The plastic (at least on mine) is absolutely 100% flat which greatly reduces the glare problem. I also like that they ditched the canvas strip on the side. I guess it's no longer necessary since the 5-way button doesn't stick up anymore...the case looks MUCH better without that strip. I not only use this in the tub though, I've been using it for every day use as well. I've been using the M-Edge Trip Jacket for the last few months and, while I really like it, it's nice to switch it up every now and then. I will ONLY buy M-Edge cases for any and all Kindles I may own. I've tried other brands such as Built and Belkin, but the quality just wasn't there. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this case!...
