I've loaded mine with 300 photos and it holds them easily and with little strain. Nice margins for some notes next to each photo but a little on the glossy side, so you should probably write with a fine tip sharpie and not a pencil. It can supposedly hold pictures vertically, but it looks a lot better if you just put them in the sleeves like the rest and just rotate the book when you're browsing. Sleeve in the back for a back-up cd of your photos.Overall, good album. I've ordered four more to have on hand for each year's photos, because I like having a few different colors but uniform formats....
